Pipoz Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
Pipoz is an app and website from Oliktric LLC. It helps you stay in touch with people you keep: pippets (a letter, a voice, or a film that shows up when it should), in-app chat, people and tags, goals you add, and an optional calendar view on Home.
What we collect
You choose what to give us. You type most of it. Calendar is read on the device after you grant the iOS Calendar permission. Technical logs are created when your device or browser talks to pipoz.app.
- Account. Your display name (you type it). Sign in with Apple, or an email login link. We do not use a password. Sign in with Apple, if you use it, is for restoring your house. This app does not ask Apple for your name or email. Email and phone on first use are optional. The app still works if you skip them. Optional account email is used to send you a login link and account mail. Optional account phone is stored on your profile, and on a person if you add it there. We do not send SMS.
- Pipoz id. We create yours on this device and bind it so Pipoz can reach you. It shows on Me as Your Pipoz id once that is ready. You can copy it. You do not type your own. For a person you add, you can type their Pipoz id if they have the app, or we may fill it if you add their email and they are already on Pipoz.
- People you add. Name, optional email or phone you type in, optional notes, optional birthday month and day, tags you create (for example Friend, Bestie, My Circle, Family), and an optional photo you pick. That photo stays on this device. We do not upload the image. Optional people-email is stored on that person record. If you add their email, we may look up whether they already have Pipoz. We may email a join invite when you add or change their email, and not if they already have a Pipoz id. We do not currently email them when a pippet is ready. Optional people-phone is stored on that person record as a contact. We do not send SMS.
- Dates you add. On a person, you can add a day with a title, a month, and a day. That is not their birthday, and it is not Calendar. We keep it so we can remember the day and fire local reminders on this device.
- Snippets. If you paste a note (something they wrote) to get a suggestion, we keep the pasted text and that suggestion with that person.
- Pippets and chat. Text, voice, and film you create or receive, including photos or other attachments you pick, and when they should arrive.
- Goals you add. What you set (including a note). They stay on this device. We do not upload them.
- Calendar (optional). If you connect Calendar, Pipoz can read existing events on this device (all-day events and titles like birthday, anniversary, or important) so they can show on Home. That calendar data stays on the device. We do not upload it, write it, or delete it.
- Purchases. We do not take card numbers. Purchases are in-app via Apple. If you buy in the app, Apple processes the payment.
- Push (optional). If you turn on notifications, a push token may be stored on this device. Local reminders can fire on the phone. We do not currently send those pings from our servers.
- Technical logs. To run pipoz.app we use Cloudflare. They may process ordinary request data (such as IP address and time) to keep the service up, rate-limit mail, and lock out wrong pippet codes for a short time (about 15 minutes). Cloudflare Web Analytics may also process ordinary page-request data (such as IP, time, and which page was opened) to run the site.
We do not scrape your Contacts or Photos to build a list. We only use people and media you give Pipoz. We do not use crash-reporting SDKs. No third-party AI reads your pippets, chat, people, notes, or calendar.
How we use it
To run your account, deliver pippets, run in-app chat with someone who has a Pipoz id, send a login link if you chose email, look up whether an email you add already has Pipoz, email a join invite when you add or change their email if they do not already have a Pipoz id, restore your people list if you sign in, remember dates you add and show local reminders for those days, keep snippets you paste, show local reminders if you turned on notifications, (if you connected Calendar) show those events on Home, run Cloudflare Web Analytics on pipoz.app, and show in-app chat plan prices as Apple charges them.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for ads. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or sites.
Where it is stored
On your iPhone, and on our servers at Cloudflare (including file storage for voice, film, and chat or pippet attachments). Your Pipoz id is stored on our servers when it is bound, so chat and pippets can reach this phone. If you sign in, we store a copy so you can get it back: your display name, account email, account phone, your Pipoz id, people (names, emails, phones, tags, notes, birthday month and day, Pipoz id if they have one, typed or filled from email), dates you add (title, month, day), snippets (pasted text and suggestion), and pippet drafts (text, when they should arrive, status, recipient email). Pippet pages live at pipoz.app. Anyone you share a pippet link with can open that pippet if they also have the secret code you set. Sign in with Apple stays with Apple.
How long we keep it
We keep account, people, pippets, and chat while your account exists, and for as long as a pippet is stored. We do not auto-delete them on a timer. Goals and Calendar event data stay on the device. Signing out does not delete your data. Delete account on Me deletes your whole account and the personal data we hold. You can also email contact@oliktric.com. Until we finish that request, pippets already created can still be delivered.
Your choices
You can skip email, phone, Calendar, and notifications. You can edit or remove people you added. You can stop Calendar or notifications in iOS Settings. That withdraws consent for those. Delete account on Me deletes your whole account. You can also email contact@oliktric.com.
Children
Pipoz is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Processors
Cloudflare hosts the app backend and pipoz.app, stores voice, film, and attachments, sends login-link and join-invite mail, and runs Web Analytics. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and the App Store. Expo is used for the optional on-device push token and local reminders. They may process data as needed to provide those services. We require them to protect it at least as carefully as we describe here.
Nonconsensual intimate images (Take It Down Act)
Pipoz hosts user-created film, photos, and other media in pippets and chat. If an intimate photo or video of you (including a digitally created or altered one) was published on Pipoz or pipoz.app without your consent, you — or someone you authorize — can ask us to remove it.
You do not need a Pipoz account to submit a request.
How to request removal: go to Nonconsensual intimate image removal or email contact@oliktric.com with subject “TIDA / NCII removal request.” Include: (1) your signature (typed full name and a statement that you sign or are authorized to sign); (2) information that helps us find the content (link, date, people involved, description); (3) a short good-faith statement that the content was published without your consent; and (4) how we can contact you.
If we receive a valid request, we will remove that content and make reasonable efforts to find and remove known identical copies as soon as possible and within 48 hours.
